About Ruthy's Creations

My name is Ruthy Allgyer, and I am the owner of Ruthy's Creations & Alterations. I am a self-taught designer and seamstress, and have been designing and creating one-of-a-kind items for 20 years. I also worked as an Alterations Specialist at David’s Bridal for over a year. This gave me extensive experience with bridal and formal alterations, and made me very aware that each bride is a unique individual and desires a more personal touch than sometimes is possible in a large corporate environment.

I love to listen to your ideas, then design and bring to life your dream wedding gown. Maybe you want to re-style your mother or grandmother's gown to become your very own? I love to do this also! You can be sure no other bride will have YOUR dress. If you can dream it...I bet I can create it!

I also custom make bridesmaid, flower-girl, and mother-of-the-bride dresses to coordinate with your theme and color scheme. Who decided you should pick something off a rack, anyway?

In the case that you already bought something, and it needs some adjustments, I can do that also. Tailoring a few seams can change your look from just okay, to drop-dead gorgeous!

I always say, “It doesn’t matter how much you paid for your dress, what name brand it is, or how beautiful it is on the hanger…if it doesn’t fit you impeccably, you wasted your money!” I love what I do, and I aim to please every client by my timely communication, attention to details, and quick turn-around times.
